Strawberry is a plant of the Pink family. Berries are cultivated in many countries of the world. Berries with a conical shape can be of different sizes, it depends on the variety. Basically, the berry is of bright red color (see photo). Juicy flesh has a unique aroma and sweet taste.
As for varieties there are hundred of them. However, despite of such diversity only 73 varieties are registered in Russia. And which of them is the best one? Everything depends on your aim and climate conditions, so a lot of factors should be taken into account.
